I am in the process of making this blogspot page a more permanent home of KMB Jazz. With that in mind, here is a comprehensive list of my available releases. Click on each for a link to an ordering page, using PayPal (or Downtown Music Gallery in the case of KMB018). Hopefully this is more navigable.
Also, the Ideal Bread CD-R is essentially sold out but has been repressed as an alumnium disc, 500 copies first run, as the group has several NYC gigs upcoming (check the link for details), and IB's leader/baritone sax player Josh Sinton is gearing up for an early August West Coast tour with a trio version of the group. Check his website for details on that and his other projects.
In other KMB news, Ras Moshe is playing this year's Vision Festival next Friday on June 12th. The Transcendence Quartet will be augmented by Matt Lavelle, who is playing a plethora of gigs as well, including a tour with Stars Like Fleas and another with Sabir Mateen. Plans are also underway to get the engines churning in regards to the label's re-starting. More on that soon, but for now, buy some discs and go see some KMB artists live.

KMB Jazz in 2009

Dear friends and supporters of KMB Jazz-
It is with great regret that I am informing you that due to my personal financial situation, no further releases are to be expected from the label until at least 2010. Our two newest (but not last) records are Matt Lavelle's Morcilla - The Manifestation Drama (KMB018) and Joe Morris' Atmosphere (KMB010), a recording of solo banjo. This blog is temporarily replacing my website due to access issues. I urge you to support the artists that I've worked with by seeing them live and purchasing their records. It is with regret that I've made this decision, but due to the current economy and the uncertain future of record labels in general, I feel this to be best for the contined health of the label. I should emphasize that this is good night, and not goodbye. I will be back; there is too much wonderful music in this world.
If you'd like to order my releases (click here for full information and reviews) Bruce Lee Gallanter and Manny "Lunch" Maris are two of this music's greatest champions, and Downtown Music Gallery is their fantastic mailorder site. They also have a store in NYC, recently moved, so please support them by picking up some KMB releases. You can also visit CDBaby, Cadence, Squidco, iTunes, and Amazon.
